The Beneteau First 45F5 is was far ahead of her time in the early 1990s, the extraordinary design by Pininfarina attracted attention in many ports. Thanks to the unusual lines and long narrow windows, there is an exceptional amount of natural light coming into the interior. Thanks to the deep keel (2.4m) and substantial sail plan, the 45 F 5 has excellent sailing characteristics.

The 45 F 5 which we have on offer has enjoyed many upgrades for long(er) stays on board or is ideal for departures. There are still some cosmetic issues to be performed what is included in the asking price. The "Farra" is an opportunity for the handy sailor who is looking for a solid and good sailing ship.

The gangways are wide and free of obstacles, thanks to the beautifully designed solararch with fixed rails around the cockpit is a very safe place, even in rough seas. All lines can be controlled from the shelter of the spray hood and the recently installed bow thruster makes maneuvering easy.

The salon is bright and orderly and has several storage spaces, to starboard the large navigation corner with various built-in equipment and to port access to the wet room and the spacious longitudinal galley. The round seating area can accommodate about 6 people, unique is that the dining table can be attached at an inclined angle. It is also easy to convert into a nice lounge sofa.

In the bow we find on port side a bunk bed with closet space amidships and on starboard side this cabin has been converted to storage/cabinet space. All the way in the bow is a wet room with dry toilet and access to storage.

In the stern we find two double beds with various closet space where on the port side in a closet the electrics of the charger/inverter and bus bars are placed.

• Rudder blade increased moisture + osmosis blisters
• Throttle knob/ball is loose
• inspection hatch water tank 1 leaking, correct size hatch not found yet
• refrigerator compressor needs refilling, sometimes makes noise
