The Grand Soleil 40 has been Grand Soleil's flagship, excellent sailing characteristics combined with a comfortable 3-cabin layout make her an excellent choice for the sporty sailor who does not want to compromise on comfort.

The "Extasea" has been well maintained and features a range of innovations. The cockpit is spacious and well thought out for both family sailing and around the ton. The gangways are wide and fitted with teak decking which has good anti-skid properties. The interior is spacious with directly to starboard the navigation table equipped with various built-in equipment (including a 2nd autopilot control). On the port side is the wet room with longitudinal galley with large top loader cooler and 2-burner stove with oven. The salon has a cozy round seat where the loose bench can be moved to get more space in the galley or at the table.

In the bow is a double V-bed with lovely mattresses and various closet space. In the stern there are 2 identical rear cabins for 2 persons and also ample closet space.
